Alan Aversa graduated from the University of Arizona in 2008 with a B.S. in physics and astronomy and minors in math and Italian. His being a TA for an E&M lab class invigorated his interest in teaching. Since then, he has taught physics and computer programming in classrooms and online. As a school board member, he will promote STEM programs and ensure taxpayer money is spent efficiently and only on what will improve instructional quality.
